Sunday Salon on Sunday October 19th from 4 to 6PM
We’ve been inspired by the legendary artist salons hosted by Gertrude Stein. Her Paris apartment, 27 Rue de Fleurus, on the Left Bank was a renowned Saturday evening gathering place for avante garde artists and writers, most notably Pablo Picasso, Henri Mattise, James Joyce, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Ernest Hemmingway. The gatherings in the Stein home brought together confluences of talent and thinking that would help define modernism in literature and art.
Recognizing the importance of supportive and sustained community for creatives and makers, we’re launching the first Sunday Salon at The Meadow. You’re invited to bring a a work-in-progess of any medium to share with the group. Feel free to bring the beginnings of a poem, painting, sculpture, or song—or any other creative endeavor you’d like to share. Our intention is to create a supportive environment in which you feel inspired to continue creating on your own terms. This event will be facilitated with a light touch to make sure everything flows in a timely manner and the conversation remains focused and supportive.
Tea and treats will be served.
Join us for an evening that’s guaranteed to inspire and connect.
