LET'S GET MYSTICAL: Celtic Wisdom Circle on Saturday February 1st

$35.00
sold out

According the Celtic Medicine Wheel, the midwinter season concludes on the first of February with an Imbolc celebration. Imbolc is considered a cross quarter day on the wheel, the midpoint between winter solstice and the spring equinox. The word Imbolc means “in the belly” in Irish and the festival marks the time of year that is pregnant with possibility. In February, seeds begin to stir in the earth as they prepare for their ascent and emergence as new life. St. Brigid, our newest matron saint of Ireland, is also honored at this time. St. Brigid is considered to be a triple goddess, a master in the arts of healing, alchemy, and poetry.

We’re going to GET MYSTICAL once again at The Meadow with an Imbolc Circle. During this seasonal circle, you’ll have an opportunity to connect to the subterranean heat of Imbolc and the creative power of Brigid. Our Imbolc celebration will set the ground for new outgrowth in the coming spring. The circle will include a guided meditation on this theme, group reflection, a simple Brigid’s cross weaving lesson and an expressive poetry salon. We’ll serve milk thistle tea and offer an inspirational oil crafted from the flowers that grow in the Irish countryside. We can hardly wait for this beautiful evening imbued with such magic.
